At the beginning of Saving Grace's final season, Grace Hanadarko's secret is out.
TNT sets premiere date for Saving Grace's final season
For three seasons, the heavy-drinking and promiscuous Grace (Holly Hunter) has been under the watchful eye of her "last-chance" angel, Earl (Leon Rippy), who wants Grace to give her life over to God. After surviving a 12-story fall without a scratch in the Season 3 finale, Grace has her share of questions, including one she must ask herself: Does my life have a divine purpose?
"That fall puts Grace in brand-new terrain with questions that have now become demands," Hunter tells TVGuide.com. "Grace answers those demands in a really kind of an extreme way, which is how she normally confronts issues. Grace really goes on a journey, in many ways very much alone. The singularity of her journey very much takes shape in this last season."
Of course, Grace has never been prone to blind faith, and that will not change, creator and executive producer Nancy Miller says. "It's one thing to believe in something; it's another thing to act on it," she says. "She fell 12 stories and walked away without a scratch. That's just not possible. Now what do you do with that?"
After nine seasons on the air, is 'Scrubs' checking out of Sacred Heart? According to Zach Braff's Facebook page, yes.
"Many of you have asked, so here it is: it appears that "New Scrubs", "Scrubs 2.0", "Scrubs with new kids", "Scrubbier", "Scrubs without JD" is no more. It was worth a try, but alas... it didn't work. zb," he posted today.
But according to the Live Feed, a rep for ABC says a decision has yet to be made.
Still, if true, the news wouldn't be all that surprising, considering how low the ratings were this season. Only 3.5 million people tuned into the season 9 finale last Wednesday, for example.

'Breaking Bad' (Sun., 10PM, AMC) season 3 premiereWhen last we left cancer-surviving drug cooker Walt (Emmy winner Bryan Cranston), his wife had left him, he'd dropped off his drug partner Jesse (Emmy nominee Aaron Paul) at rehab and Walt and Jesse were indirectly involved with a mid-air collision of two airplanes that left more than a hundred people dead and an eyeball landing in Walt's backyard. And the third season? Well, believe it or not, things go from tragic to worse: Skyler is more resolved than ever to become the ex-Mrs. White; Walt Jr. is freaking out about his fractured family; Jesse comes to a heartbreaking bit of self-analysis in rehab; and, just when he thinks he's out, Walt's drug cohorts make a multi-million dollar offer to pull him back in. And there are the hit men who are hot on the trail of ... well, you'll see.
'Life' – This visually spectacular, 11-part series was four years in the making, is narrated by Oprah Winfrey and, most important, comes from the team behind that other incredible nature series, 'Planet Earth.' 'Life,' with episode that include Insects, Mammals, Plants, Primates and Reptiles & Amphibians, is every bit as fascinating. And yes, it's also being shown on Discovery network's HD channels (Sun., 8PM, Discovery, TLC, Animal Planet, Science Channel, Investigation Discovery, Planet Green and Discovery Health Channel) miniseries premiere
'The Simpsons' – Sarah Silverman guest stars as a classmate of Bart's who sparks a case of puppy love in the little yellow guy (Sun., 8PM, Fox)
'Desperate Housewives' – Series creator Marc Cherry has confirmed that Drea de Matteo's Angie will be exiting the show at the end of the season, and we suspect the arrival of Angie's ex-boyfriend (played by 'Torchwood' hottie John Barrowman) may have a little something to do with that (Sun., 9PM, ABC)

Considering its relatively short time on air, the cast of 'Glee' has racked up some pretty impressive invitations to some pretty important events: They've sung the National Anthem at the World Series; they've been invited to appear at the White House. But that's just small potatoes compared to arguably the biggest show of all: 'Oprah.'
But now, the Ausiello Files is reporting that the queen of all media has invited the cast of the Fox sensation to her Chicago headquarters for an all-out 'Oprah Winfrey Show' 'Glee' -fest next month.
The entire episode will be devoted to all things 'Glee,' and will include interviews with the cast and creator Ryan Murphy, never-before-seen behind-the-scenes video and a performance from the cast itself.
To mark this happy event, Winfrey is building up anticipation for the show on her website. Starting the week of Mar. 29, Oprah.com will host a 'Glee' "destination page" where fans of the musical series can gleek out on character bios, I.Q. tests, photo galleries and more.
The 'Oprah' episode is slated to air Apr. 7, which is just a couple days after the cast is scheduled to perform at the White House's Annual Easter Egg Roll.
And of course, all of this is building up to 'Glee's' return to Fox on Apr. 13. Mark your calendars, Gleeks, and set your DVRs to record!
Walt Disney for better or worse was a major force in creating American popular culture. Neal Gabler examines in fine detail Disney's cultural legacy.
In the introduction to Walt Disney: The Triumph of the American Imagination, film historian Neal Gabler states a larger intention than just biography.
While Gabler’s book may set the record straight, and steer away from the sensational, it remains clear that Disney did have some pretty unsavoury political connections, was involved in a group renowned for its rabid anti-Semitism and did indeed, by any modern standards, drink too much.
Walt Disney's Artistic TriumphsBut really, who cares about such stuff?

The important thing is Disney’s career as an artist. The long and the short of it is he kicked animation as an art form light-years into the future. The apogee of that technical and aesthetic revolution came with the release in 1937 of Snow White. Disney was then in his mid 30s. After that, his artistic career was really all down hill, until he could barely care less what his production studio was making.
It's best to really look at the height of Disney's artistic career beginning in 1928 with Mickey Mouse and ending some 9 years later in 1937 with Snow White.
Another five years could arguably be added onto that, for in 1942 he released (after agonising years of production) the masterpiece Bambi.
If you, like us, have been wondering what David Chase has been up to since the end of his brilliant creation, The Sopranos, it appears he's been busying himself for a new career in Hollywood.
Slash Film tells us that Chase is set to go into production on a music-driven coming-of-age rock drama later this year. The as-yet-untitled film is said to be "about a bunch of guys who form a rock band in the 1960s" and will find the debutante director working from a self-penned script.
Before that tale hits the big screen, Chase's HBO miniseries A Ribbon Of Dreams, which will tell us about "the invention of cinema and subsequent growth of the Hollywood film industry", is set to get an airing. Chase wrote the miniseries and plans to direct the initial episodes.
'Alice In Wonderland' is going from theaters to dvd within the next 90 days. Disney plans to release their latest blockbuster so quickly that it is causing a major stir between Hollywood studios and movie theater owners world wide.

One question raised repeatedly Heroes Seasons 1-4 DVD Box set over the past week is whether this will turn out to be the show’s final episode. It’s an unfortunate Heroes dvd box set predicament, firstly because it Heroes on dvd leaves the show’s writers no opportunity to bring their story to a fittingcheap Heroes dvd conclusion, secondly because it leaves the show’s fans with no sense of closure.
For both of those reasons, I hope very much that this isn’t the show’s final episode. If it were, it would in turn raise the question of whether this will be my final review for the show. Which is also an unfortunate predicament, firstly because I’m not sure how sentimental I’m supposed to be, secondly because giving an overview of 78 reviews and half Heroes seasons 1-4 a million words is too daunting for me to contemplate.
So I’m not going Heroes series 1-4 to. I’m going to live in denial until the show’s network makes an official announcement, and I’m reviewing Heroes seasons 4 this episode as a volume- and season-ender rather than a series-ender. And, all things considered, that’s probably in the show’s best interest, becauseHeroes season 4 release date if this episode were to serve as a series-ender, it would leave more unresolved storylines Heroes season 4 release date than I can count.
It’s not the weakest finale the the sopranos complete series show has delivered, but it’s close. There’s nothing catastrophically bad about it, and nothing the sopranos dvd box set that plunges it to the depths of awfulness that the Sylathan Debacle reached last season, but there are inconsistencies running the sopranos dvd collection throughout it, there are aspects of the plot that aren’t developed anywhere the sopranos on dvd near as far as they need to be, and if there’s a central criticism to be made, it’s that the absence of awfulness doesn’t make this a successful finale. Like almost every episode, it showcases superb performances from its cast and some profound ideas in its plot, concluding the volume cheap the sopranos dvd with a suitably open-ended development that cheap the sopranos dvd all but begs the network to consider renewing the show for another season. But cheap the sopranos dvd collection within the context of the volume — and, yes, the series as a whole — it’s a by-the-numbers, seen-it-all-before finale. It has nothing to match the level of tension and drama that made the previous finales remarkable, it leaves multiple character arcs unresolved, and its pace is such that the volume doesn’t march to a conclusion so much as hobble.
NBC has already begun to Heroes Seasons 1-4 DVD Boxset make unofficial noise about which ones of their shows will be coming back Heroes dvd box set and which will go bye-bye, but so far, still no word on the fate of Heroes on dvd Heroes. The Hollywood Reporter caught up with Angela Bromstad cheap Heroes dvd(left), NBC’s President of Primetime Entertainment and asked Heroes seasons 1-4 her about just that. Unfortunately Bromstad either doesn’t yet know what her network is going to do Heroes series 1-4 with the show, or if she knows, she’s not telling. Here’s the Heroes part of the interview.
THR: Let’s run down some Heroes seasons 4 of the bubble shows. “Heroes”?
Bromstad: We met with (“Heroes” creator) Tim Kring (last week) and talked about a lot of things. It’s a wait-and-see for us.
THR: If “Heroes” does come back, is therethe sopranos complete series a chance of it being announced as a final season?
Bromstad: We’re going to the sopranos dvd box set cross that bridge when we come to it.
There have the sopranos dvd collection been a lot of rumors about the sopranos on dvd Heroes coming back or not, and a lot of blogs cheap the sopranos dvd are making lists about reasons pro and against, but honestly, at the end of the day, it’s up to NBC to decide if the show is worth bringing back, financially speaking. Networks are in the business of making money, and if the show can still make them money, they’ll bring cheap the sopranos dvd collection it back regardless of criticisms leveled at the show by fans and loudmouth critics.

The doctor is out. Almost.
After six years of doomed love affairs, a hallucinatory boyfriend and a battle with cancer, Izzie Stevens is reportedly hanging up her stethoscope for good. According to Michael Ausiello, blonde beauty Katherine Heigl has succeeded in negotiating a release from her 'Grey's Anatomy' contract with showrunner Shonda Rhimes; all that remains is for ABC Studios and Heigl's reps to work out an exit agreement, and Heigl will have her freedom.
The relationship between Heigl and the 'Grey's' camp has long been considered gossip column fodder; the trouble seemed to start in 2007, following Isaiah Washington's homophobic slur against Heigl's BFF TR Knight on the 'Anatomy' set. Heigl was vocal in her disapproval of her co-star's poor choice of words after Washington repeated the insult at the Golden Globes. Then, in 2008, Heigl provoked controversy of her own with her decision not to enter the Emmy race because she felt that she had not been given strong enough material to warrant a nomination -- the 'Grey's' writers were less than thrilled.
Until someone makes an official announcement one way or the other, the circumstances surrounding the supposed split will remain fuzzy, but in the meantime, we've compiled a list of five reasons why controversy-courting Katherine should leave 'Grey's Anatomy.'
1. She's a Baby Mama nowIn September, Heigl and hubby Josh Kelley brought home adorable baby Naleigh from Korea, where Meg, Heigl's adopted sister, was born. Naleigh is a special needs child who was already 10 months old by the time she reached the couple, so it makes sense that Heigl would take some time away from those famously long workdays to bond with her little bundle of joy.
2. Her BFF went bye-byeNot only was Heigl close with Kate Walsh, who flew the 'Anatomy' coop a couple of seasons ago to start up her own 'Private Practice,' but last season saw the exit of everyone's favorite Seattle Grace underdog, George O'Malley, and with him left TR Knight, Heigl's on and off-screen best friend. True, the actress still seems to be friendly with co-star Justin Chambers, but we've got to imagine that the 'Grey's' set got a little lonelier for Heigl after her partner in crime's departure.
3. The writers really weren't giving her good materialAfter Heigl's Emmy win in '07, it seems like the 'Grey's' writers were content to rest on their laurels as far as Izzie Stevens' storylines went. She bounced around from almost getting fired after Denny's death to almost quitting, to breaking up her best friend's marriage, to having hallucinations of her dead boyfriend, to having sex with hallucinations of her dead boyfriend, to getting cancer, to getting shotgun married to the resident douche, to surviving cancer but getting fired anyway, to disappearing for weeks on a voyage of self-discovery from which she will apparently never return. After Denny's exit, it seemed as though the writers didn't know what to do with Heigl's character, and though part of the blame can be attributed to Heigl's hectic movie schedule, it's fair to say that audiences (and obviously Heigl herself) have noticed the lackluster plotlines Izzie has been given in recent seasons.

Big East Basketball Championship
A busy day of college hoops calls for a dozen automatic NCAA Tournament tickets to be punched from Burlington, Vt., to Los Angeles, as bubble talk begins to bubble over on the eve of Selection Sunday. Highlighting the ESPN schedule is the Big East finale at Madison Square Garden, where two teams hope to cement their candidacy as part of the conference's monster contingent for March Madness. After sending seven teams last year, four of which made the Elite Eight, the 16-team league is in line to have more than half its membership called out by Greg Gumbel on CBS tomorrow evening.
